Recent Activity| What is All-District Band? Students in the 8th and 9th grade band at EMJH are eligible to audition for the Northwest North Carolina District Honor Band. Students with the highest audition score will be chosen from all across the northwest district to attend a weekend band clinic and performance. The students will meet and work with students from all across this region. This is a wonderful opportunity for students. I am encouraging all 8th and 9th grade students to participate. Dates/Deadlines: Dec. 1, 2008- Registration deadline January 24, 2009- All-District Band Auditions at Central Davidson Middle and High Schools in Lexington, NC. We will travel by activity bus. February 6-7, 2009- Middle School All-District Band Clinic (selected 8th grade students) at Wake Forest University February 20-21, 2009- High School All-District Band Clinic (selected 9th grade students) at Appalachian State University |
